Answers to common questions about the ReStrain beta.

How do I install ReStrain?

Install Apple’s TestFlight app, then open the ReStrain beta invitation on your iPhone. Availability and beta expiry are shown in TestFlight.

My health data or location isn’t up to date.

Check your permissions in iPhone Settings and open ReStrain to allow a foreground sync. Apple Health access and location collection are optional. Background delivery depends on iOS and may pause, especially after force-quitting the app.

How do I use a competition invitation?

Open the invitation link and tap “Open in ReStrain”. You can also paste the full invitation into Community → Competitions → Join. Sign in to preview the competition before choosing to join.

How do I control sharing?

Use the app’s connection and sharing controls to review permissions or revoke access. Revocation stops future reads; it cannot remove information someone has already seen or saved.

How do I report a problem?

Open TestFlight, select ReStrain, then use Send Beta Feedback. Include your iPhone model, iOS version and what happened. Avoid including private health details or invitation tokens.

How do I remove my data?

Use ReStrain’s settings to remove uploaded history or delete your account. You can also turn off Health and location permissions in iPhone Settings.
